Aster’s Bakery

Enjoy fresh-made pastries and bagels, but get there early because they usually sell out. They also have egg dishes and sandwiches for brunch.
Bar St. George/Laventure
105 S. Highland St.

This is a modern spot inside the Hotel St. George. The bar serves small bites and cocktails while the restaurant in the back is more formal. FYI - There is a gap in food service between 2 - 5pm.
Cochineal

One of the nicest restaurants in Marfa led by a James Beard Semi-Finalist for Best Chef in Texas. They feature a weekly tasting menu as well as a seasonal a la carte menu.
The Get Go

This is a small grocery store with an amazing selection of high-end snack foods and wine. Think of it as Marfa’s Whole Foods. You might run into Matthew McConaughey here! We did!
Jett's Grill

This is the restaurant located inside the Hotel Paisano. They have American and Southwestern food. They are also famed with inventing the Ranch Water!
Marfa Burrito
515 S. Highland St.
If you are craving some amazing homemade burritos, come here! They don’t speak English and only accept cash - at least the last time we went. Hours are on Marfa time. You’ll just need to drive by to see if they are open.
Margaret's

The atmosphere at Margaret's is lively, and menu items are always changing but incredible!
Para Llevar

The best pizza in town! They also have sandwiches, salad, and frozen cocktails. This is one of our favorite spots in Marfa!
The Sentinel

This place is part coffee shop, part newspaper office, and part gift shop. The coffee here is some of the best in town. They also have breakfast tacos.
Stripe's

Open 24/7
Yes, this is a gas station, but they seriously have the best fried burritos! It’s also always open, and as you might learn, the hours for most Marfa restaurants are “suggestions.”

Cactus Liquors

Marfa’s best liquor store - well the only one. They have a large selection of spirits, beers, and wines that rival those you find anywhere else.
The Capri
603 W. San Antonio St.

Come here for a cocktail and you will feel like you are in a bar from a big city. The interior is dark and modern, and there are plenty of places to gather outside. Since, it will be cold in November, they should have their numerous fire pits going.
Lost Horse (The Pony)

This is definitely a dive bar. Go for the experience and stay for a beer or two.
Planet Marfa

Planet Marfa is an all-outdoor bar lit up by hanging lights. They usually have live music. Grab a drink and hang out in the old school bus, the teepee, or the treehouse!

This is the official viewing area for the Marfa Lights. Are they aliens or headlights? You decide! Amaury and I have definitely seen some weird dancing lights out there.
Prada Marfa

Prada Marfa is a permanent art installation located in the Texas desert near Marfa, designed to resemble a high-end Prada boutique. You drive through Valentine, TX, which is an experience all to itself. If you don’t intend to ever return to Marfa, it’s definitely a bucket list item.
